December, 1975 THE EIGHTH TRIBE Page 9 editoris note päd % As the year 1975 closes, let us look back at the eight year accomplishments of the Bethlen Freedom Press, later on the Bethlen Press, and the two years publishing of the Eighth Tribe. Somehow, even now, when it is called Bethlen Press and the ownership is in private hands, the Bethlen Press belongs to the American-Hungarians. The friendship, the fellowship generated through the past eight years between us and the churches, societies and individuals is still alive and growing. It is a warm feeling when this editor receives phone calls and letters from Oregon, California, Florida, New York, Illinois, Texas and many other states in the U. S. and even from Canada and Australia. The services of the Bethlen Press reaches over thousands of miles. are in a very unique position. The Bethlen Press and the Eighth Tribe represents a combined effort of three generations of American-Hungarians above all religious and political differences, in a common bond — we are the descendants of a nation we can be proud of. *** To all those who used the services of the Bethlen Press, to the subscribers of the Eighth Tribe we send our Season’s Greetings and wish them a happy and prosperous 1976. _____________________ HUNGARIAN CHRISTMAS HYMN Translated by Mrs. Julianna Toth Krisztus Urunknak Áldott Születésén (Rhythmic-version) This blessed day when Christ, our Savior was born, We will sing praises like the angels that morn, Who o'er the fields of Bethlehem were winging, Joyfully singing: “Glory to God be in the highest heaven!
