With the October issue The EIGHTH TRIBE was sent to those only who sent in their subscription or their intention to subscribe. We ask the latter ones to send in the $8.00. We discontinued sending to individuals whose names were sent to us by their churches. Instead, we send some to each church for distribution.

We were informed by some churches that the church will subscribe for copies for distribution among their youth membership. We would like to call this to the attention of other churches. We ask you to discuss this with the Church Council, the Youth and Sunday School leaders and your Ladies’ Aid Societies.

After four issues printed the Eighth Tribe gained nationwide attention both among the Hungarians and non-Hungarians, especially by those in the national educational circles. The magazine is not perfect. Sometimes there are typographical errors, which we try to avoid, but it happens.

Because we have more and more people asking for back issues, we ask all those churches and organizations who received the earlier issues to please send back the magazines that were not distributed. We are in need of the April, September and October issues, as we have none left.

We also would like to know if the copies sent to the churches are being distributed or discarded. We also would like to ask the pastors and the church councils to let us know if they do not wish to receive future issues for their churches. With the January issue we will have a “Coming Events” column where the churches and organizations can list the dates of events they wish to convey to others in other cities.
