Apart from adding the acronyms CDM and CFPP after her name, Certified Dietary Manager and Certified Food Protection Professional respectively, Sandy can now also assist with charting and care plans for residents. Currently the certification is not a requirement for dietary managers, but Bethlen Home will benefit from having such a highly-trained professional on staff. Sandy traveled to Harrisburg for the 5-hour written/ multiple choice exam on April 29. Bethlen Communities congratulates Sandy for her accomplishment. Calvin Synod Visits On May 16, Calvin Synod began their annual meeting with a worship service at the Moriah Chapel, followed by lunch in Bethlen Home's Linden Room.
