Sctíbitp ï|tgï)ltgï)tô “A NEW BEGINNING” The first phase of construction for the new nursing facility at The Bethlen Home began on December 22, 2003. The initial work is the control of surface and runoff water. Two ponds will be constructed with drainage systems exiting the ponds controlling the discharge of water. Pond “B”, which is nearest the current building, will discharge down the hill past the administration building and travel below Kalassay Drive eventually discharging below The Bethlen Cottages. The discharge for Pond “B” is much longer and travels through wooded areas and under current road surfaces. This part of the project will take approximately 5-6 weeks compared to 2-3 weeks for Pond “A”. We APOLOGIZE for any inconvenience that is going to occur during this time. In 2 days, all the trees were cleared for the pond discharge lines. The trees will be replaced in the future. Water and gas service will enter to the new site through the same ditch work. The excavation company is marking many locations during the survey process. This will pinpoint the exact location of all ponds, water and gas lines, sewage and storm lines, roads, etc.
