Take my hand, dear Jesus, guide me every day. Always stay close by me as I tread life’s way. Make me kind and gentle, Loving, patient, true, Always treating others as you’d have me do. Take my hand, Lord Jesus I am weak; you’re strong. In the time of trouble, you’re my hope, my song. You’re the Son in daylight; you’re the Son at night. Take my hand, Lord Jesus, and e’er with me abide.
