In this new issue of The Messenger, it is my privilege to introduce to the larger Bethlen Home - Ligonier Gardens community our new Nursing Home Administrator, Mr.. David W. Thomas. David was interviewed and called to his position by The Bethlen Home Board of Directors on February 26, 2004. David comes to us from the town of Duncansville, PA. (A more detailed biographical sketch follows.) He brings to The Bethlen Home more than 20 years of nursing home administrator experience, in both profit and not-for-profit settings. David is well known within nursing home circles here in Pennsylvania, and is held in high esteem by other nursing home professionals, as well as state officials in the Pennsylvania Departments of Health and Public Welfare. David has spent his first few weeks on the job becoming acquainted with the residents and staff. He looks forward to meeting members of our residents’ families, as well as the many supporters of The Bethlen Home. So feel free to drop in at any time to say “Isten Hozott, Dávid!” “God has brought you, David!” Speaking of visiting, this will be an exciting Spring at The Bethlen Home. Construction on our new facility is progressing. Come and see the progress and enjoy The Bethlen Home’s hospitality! The guest apartments are available to our visitors on a first come, first serve reservation basis. Simply call The Bethlen Home main office and let us know when you are coming. KÖSZÖNTJÜK DÁVIDOT! Nekem jutott az a megtisztelő feladat, hogy a Messenger mostani számában a Bethlen Otthon, Ligonier Garden nagy családjának bemutassam David W. Thomast, akit 2004 február 26-án az Igazgatótanács megválasztott az Otthon új igazgatójának. David Duncansville Pa.-ból jön hozzánk. Húsz éves tapasztalatot hoz magával. Jól ismert mind szakmájában, mind pedig az illetékes állami hivatalos fórumokon. Dávid az első heteket főleg arra használta, hogy megismerkedjék a lakókkal és leendő munkatársaival. Ezt a kört kívánja bővíteni a lakók családtagjai, valamint az intézet támogatói irányába Bármikor beköszönhetünk hozzá egy “Isten Hozott, Dávid” üdvözlettel. Az Otthon látogatása önmagában is izgalmakkal jár. A tavasz érkezése csak növelte az építkezés tempóját. Mindenkit szívesen látunk. A vendégszobák előre lefoglalandók.
