9ctüritp J|tgí)ltgí)tö EMPLOYEE-CHILD-GRANDCHILD EASTER EGG HUNT The Bethlen Home Activity Department will be holding their 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt for our employees’ children and grandchildren on Saturday, April 3rd from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Children from ages one to ten will be eligible to participate in the event. Sign-up sheets will be posted closer to the event for our employees to sign their loved one up. Join us for an afternoon of fun treats and prizes! MED CARE APPAREL CLOTHING SALE Residents and families will have the opportunity to shop for Spring and Summer Clothing on Thursday, March 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in The Bethlen Home Dining Room. The clothing company carries a wide selection of specialized and regular clothing for both men and women nursing home residents. Volunteers and Staff will be available to help with any questions or concerns. Families who are unable to attend shopping day and would like items purchased for their loved one, can do so by contacting Social Service (Kathy Cams) at 724-238-6711. This is also a great time to think about shopping for Easter and Mother’s and Father’s Day. BOOK SALE BEING HELD “Books are Fun” Company will be visiting The Bethlen Home once again this spring on Tuesday, April 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Dining Room. The Company carries a variety of books from Children’s, Inspirational, Sporting, Cookbooks, etc. along with a Gift Line. Families, Residents and Staff are welcome to stop by for the event. Remember, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are just around the corner! APRIL IS VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION MONTH April 18th through April 24th is National Volunteer Recognition Week. Thousands of Americans will be recognized during this week for their dedication and support that they give throughout the year to various community groups, nursing homes, etc. The Bethlen Home will be honoring their Volunteers with a special luncheon and award presentation program on Friday, April 23rd. This year’s theme is “Volunteers Are Out of This World”. Many “Thanks” to all our Volunteers who have taken time out during the year to visit with our residents and help with various activities.
