Sctüîttp ÏNgï)ligi)t ő UPCOMING ATTRACTIONS During the months of August, September and October, the following programs are going to be held, along with the regularly scheduled programs. Residents and families will be able to review the weekly events posted on the bulletin board located near each Nursing Station and the Activity Room. Schedules in the newsletter are subject to change, due to scheduling of programs being done several months in advance. For your convenience, a monthly calendar and a monthly in-house newsletter are posted in each resident's room. Families are welcome to attend our activities. AUGUST HIGHLIGHTS Thursday, 10th: Entertainment will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. Saturday, 18th: Della's Petting Zoo will be at 1:30 p.m. on the 1st floor patio. Monday, 21st: In honor of National Watermelon Day, a refreshing treat will be passed out this afternoon room to room starting at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, 24th: Outing scheduled. SEPTEMBER HIGHLIGHTS Monday, 4th: Happy Labor Day everyone!!! Sunday, 8th: Lights of the Valley gospel group will perform at 3:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. Thursday, 12th: Join us for the Teddy Bear Tea at 2:00 p.m. and bring your favorite bear as a guest. Monday, 16th: In honor of Sweetest Day of the Year, a dessert social will be held in the afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Solarium. Come taste some of your favorites. Tuesday, 24th: Pumpkin Carving Contest at 2:00 p.m. in the Activity Room. Thursday, 7th: VFW Bingo starts back this evening at 6:45 p.m. in the Dining Room. Sunday, 10th: Lights of the Valley gospel singing group starts back this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. Friday, 15th: Entertainment will be presented at 6:45 p.m. in the Dining Room. Saturday 16th: Della's Petting Zoo will be here at 1:30 p.m. on the 1 st floor patio. Sunday, 24th: Entertainment will be presented at 3:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. OCTOBER HIGHLIGHTS Monday, 2nd: In honor of National Pumpkin Day, a special treat of pumpkin pie will be served room to room starting at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, 5th: VFW Bingo will be held at 6:45 p.m. in the Dining Room. Saturday, 28th: Entertainment to be provided at 2:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. Monday, 30th: Halloween Spook Luncheon and Bingo Party starting at 12:00 Noon. Tuesday, 31st: Happy Halloween everyone!! Halloween Party at 2:00 p.m. in the Dining Room with entertainment. Saturday, 7th: Della's Petting Zoo will be here at 1:30 p.m. on the 1st floor patio.
