Sctüritp THE OLD FRONT PORCH CLOTHING WAGON VISITS On this summer night, I would like to be again At our old front porch that faces the lane, With all our friends gathered in happy array Enjoying the lime-coolness after a sizzling day. Med Care Clothing Apparel will bring their spring and summer line of clothing to The Bethlen Home on Thursday, June 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Dining Room. Wee fireflies would light their lanterns of gold, With the moon rising over hills lying fold on fold. Mother would whip up a freezer of ice cream And chatter and laughter would flow like a stream. We would join in singing the good old tunes That bring heaven near, when earth strangely dims, With the scent of white roses drifting on the breeze And a silver mist stealing through the trees. Oh, if I could be on our old front porch again, On this summer night, that faces the lane, I would never, no never wish to ever roam For there's no place anywhere so dear as home.
