JVcttfrüg pltgljltgíjts MEDCARE CLOTHING VISITS Medcare Clothing from Cleveland, Ohio will be visit­ing our facility with their Spring / Summer line of cloth­ing on Monday, May 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The company carries specialized clothing designed for the nursing home resident, as well as regular clothing. Families are welcome to come in and shop for their loved ones. Volunteers will be available for help if needed. If you are unable to attend, but would like clothing purchased for your loved one, please call and make arrange­ments through the Social Service De­partment. NATIONAL NURSING HOME WEEK CELEBRATED Thousands of Long term care facilities such as ours will be celebrating National Nursing Home Week across the nation in honor of their Senior Citizen Residents. This year the Activity Department will be sponsoring a week at the County Fair. Various activities are planned, such as a hobby and craft display, petting zoo, pony rides, cookout, food tasting contest, etc. to name a few. So watch for details on the bulletin boards, and join in on the fun! NURSES AND EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION LUNCHEON A luncheon will be provided for all employees of Be­thlen Home on Tuesday, May 19th at 12:00 Noon in honor of Nurse's Day and Employee Recognition Day. Details will be posted at the time clock and employee lounge. ON THE SEARCH FOR... The Activity Department is interested in borrowing completed craft and hobby items for a room display for residents to view during County Fair days, which will be held during the week of May 10th. So, if you have a hidden talent of quilting, sewing, woodworking, painting, etc., to name a few, please let us show off your talents. Items must be turned into the Activity Department for display by Wednesday, May 6th. Please have your name and phone number attached to your display item. Projects may be covered for protection, if you choose to do so. Items will be on display during Na­tional Nursing Home Week for several days and can be viewed throughout the day. The display will be locked up at night for safe keeping. Items can be picked up the following week. The Staff extends a warm "WELCOME" to the fol­lowing new residents and their families. We hope you will enjoy your stay here with us.
