A treat 'rfj of ice cream cones will be distributed room to room starting at 2:00 p.m. y Thursday, 24th: Outing is scheduled; watch bulletin boards for announcements with details and sign up. Tuesday, 29th: Come and see the Blue Cow!!! Thursday, 31st: Cookout to be held at 12:00 Noon. Everyone is welcome. \ Tuesday, 19th: A Scavenger Hunt will be held in the morning starting at 10:00 a.m. All who are interested in attending, should meet on the Western Deck to receive instructions. The Gambling Casino will be open at 1:30 p.m. with a variety of games to help you earn points to turn in at the end of the week for prizes. The Casino is located on the Southern Deck. Wednesday, 20th: Everyone is invited to the Afternoon Talent Show which will be held at 2:00 p.m. on the Southern Deck. Members of the audience are encouraged to participate. AUGUST HIGHLIGHTS Starting August 3rd through the 9th, we will be æ having Clown Week. Be sure and watch for details of special events to be held at this time, Monday, 4th: Group discussion will be held in ® the afternoon on Famous Clowns starting at 2:30 p.m. in the Solarium. Tuesday, 5th: Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a clown? Now you will have an opportunity to have your face made up with a few added frills and have your photo taken, starting at 1:30 p.m. in the Solarium. Wednesday, 6th: Cooking Class will be held in the afternoon. We will be making a Carnival Treat! Thursday, 21st: A Captain's Dinner will be held at 12:00 Noon, featuring a variety of seafood. The captain will be sending out invitations. This is also a formal dinner. The dinner will be held in the Captain's Lounge located on the Western Deck. Gambling will resume on the Southern Deck starting at 2:30 p.m., where you will continue to earn points for prizes. Friday, 22nd: Happy Hour and Fresh Fruit Social will be held in the afternoon on the Western Deck at 2:00 p.m. with your music favorites of the 40's. 50's and 60's. Saturday, 23rd: Morning Break Get Together will be held at 10:00 a.m. on the Western Deck; bring your sweet tooth! Thursday, 7th: A cookout will be held at 12:00 Noon; all are welcome. Saturday 16th: A Watermelon Social will be held outdoors in the afternoon, starting at 2:00 p.m., weather permitting; otherwise, it will be held in the Solarium. Be prepared to join in on the Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest to follow!!! Starting August 17th through the 23rd, we will be having Cruise Week; watch for details. Sunday, 17th: Welcome Social for everyone to Meet on the USS JEAN!! starting at 2:00 p.m. outdoors on the deck, weather permitting. Shuffle Board will be held in the p.m. on the Western Deck. afternoon at 2:00 Monday, 18th: Start your morning right by attending the Exercise Class on the Western Deck starting at 10:00 a.m. "You're Never To Old To Learn" is the theme for our dance class to be held on the Northern Deck at 2:00 p.m., with frozen fruit drinks to follow as refreshments.
