STARFISH

Millions of starfish had washed onto a beach, and a lady was running up and down the beach, throwing the starfish back in the water so they wouldn't die. A man came to her. "Why are you doing this," he asked. "You can't possibly make a difference. There are so many that will die."

In her hand she had a starfish, which she threw back into the sea. She said to the man,"I made a difference to this one."

The man began to help her.
