Each item of clothing should be labeled before giving it to the Resident to wear. Many times a Resident is given a birthday gift, etc. of clothing, and the item is not labeled. The item, when sent to the wash, is unable to be identified to whom it should be returned. Therefore, the clothing is hung on our lost and found rack. Unless a Resident is capable of asking about a certain garment, we have no idea who it belongs to. Please help make our job easier by labeling your clothing before giving it to your loved one. If you do not sew and would like someone to label your clothing, we are able to do it for you. Please talk with the Laundry Supervisor for details. Thank you for your cooperation. HAPPY HOUR It's hard to believe summer is just around the corner. What better way to enjoy the long hot summer days then with a tall, cool refreshing cocktail. During the summer months, on every other Friday, we will be serving cocktails out on the second floor patio (weather permitting). If we happen to hit a rain shower the festivities will be moved to the Solarium. Each week a specialty cocktail will be served along with several other common selections such as beer, rum and coke, bloody mary's, etc. During our cookouts, beer will also be available. Make sure you folks bring some identification so you can be served. You never know, you just might be under age!
