SPRING CRAFT SHOW A SUCCESS The Activity Department and Volunteers held their Spring Craft Show Fundraiser in March to benefit the Resident Activity Fund. Many "Thanks" of appreciation go out to Volunteers Ann Woodall, Connie Hail, Beasy Mack, Bobbi Mayer, Tish Purdy and Theresa Rogers for all their hard work in preparing for the fundraiser. Many “Thanks" to the Activity Staff Bobbi Burkhart, Jean Sears and Flo Woods for their hard work in preparing for the fundraiser, also. This year's winners of the Easter Raffles at the Craft Show were Goldie Kurtz for the small white rabbit and Edith Kovács for the five foot bunny. Winner of the door prize, which was a ham donated by Volunteer Nellie Welty, (Thanks a bunch!) was Tim Purdy. "Thanks" to Volunteer Ann Kamerer who made pies for the occasion. As always, they sold like hot cakes in less than five minutes. Thanks to the many families and friends of the Bethlen Home and the Activity Department for their donations in crafts, etc. We appreciate your kindness in making our Spring Fundraiser the success that it was. Through your support and kindness this year's fundraiser brought in over $1,400 dollars and it is still growing. Un pícrme Administrator..................................Rev. They seem to add a special glow and enlightenment to our Residents. Recently the Valley School of Ligonier provided our Residents with several visits from their 3rd and 4th graders. You did not realize they were in the building! The children enjoyed conversations about the "Good ole days", served refreshments and played a variety of games with the Residents. We're looking forward to their future visits. IN MEMORY Heartfelt "Thanks" to the families and friends of former Residents Mary Peffer and John Mitchell for their recent memorial donations to the Activity Department. We appreciate your kindness. Your donations will be used to provide programs for all of our Residents to enjoy in honor of your loved ones. Again, "Many Thanks" for your kindness and support. Va /elcome The staff extends a warm "WELCOME" to the following new Residents and their families. We hope you will enjoy your stay here with us.
