J\xtífrttp Ipítgljítgijts NATIONAL NURSE'S DAY MAY QUEEN Millions of Health Care Facilities and Hospitals across the Nation will be honoring their Nursing Staff during the first week in May which is National Nurse's Week. This year the Activity Department will be sponsoring a May Queen contest. Nominees will be requested from other Residents. A Luncheon and program presentation will be held in their honor. Details will be posted near the time clock. I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the wonderful nurses here at Bethlen Home who pro­vide our Residents with Quality Care and Dignity. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED The Activity Department at Bethlen Home is in need of Volunteers to assist in the following areas: • One on one visitation • Assist on outings • Shopping for Residents • Reading and writing letters for Residents • Distributing refreshments • Escorting Residents to scheduled programs •Assisting in holiday programs • Crafts • Playing games, etc. If you know someone that might be interested, please have them contact Sherry Humbertson at 238-6711 Monday through Friday to schedule an appointment for a tour and to see what is available. The time you spend volunteering is totally up to you. So if you're bored, have some spare time and maybe a hidden talent of crafts or music, please give us a call. We need you!
