Box 657, Ligonier, PA 15658-0657 SPRING ISSUE KING AND QUEEN OF HEARTS CONTEST AND WINNERS The King and Queen of Hearts were recently crowned at the Valentine’s Day Party, which was held on Friday, February 12th. This year’s party was sponsored by the Ligonier Women’s Club. Refreshments and an accordian player entertained thè residents during the afternoon; a fun time was had by a|l. Thisyear’s nomineesforthe King and Queen of Hearts contest were: HELEN VARGO, ETHEL KOZENKO, and EDNA JUHASZ for the ladies. Gentlemen nominees were BILL DICE, LOUIS PUCCI, and DAVID NIXON. A Sweetheart's Dinner was held in the evening of the 11th in honor of our nominees. Residents having spouses were also invited to attend the evening’s event. The nominees were introduced at the Valentine Party, along with the announcement of the winners. The winners were determined by votes from staff, volunteers, residents and family members. Each was presented with a gift of appreciation for their participation in the contest. The KING AND QUEEN OF HEARTS for 1993 were residents ETHEL KOZENKO and DAVID NIXON. “Congratulations” to you both fora job well done. We hope you enjoyed your special day.
