New Chapel Still In Planning The Bethlen Home Volunteers and the Activity Department are planning to help raise funds to put in a new chapel located near the Physical Therapy Department. Donations are still very much needed to help make this dream come true. We feel this room is very much needed for residents and their families to go for meditation, church services and Bible studies. This will also be a place for families and residents to find comfort and prayer during times of stress. This will also be more convenient to those residents who are unable to go outdoors to the current chapel due to their physical condition. This chapel is very much needed and is very much a definite part of patient care. We all need to feel the closeness to God. An estimate of $100,000 dollars is planned to help provide a climate controlled environment for both the handicapped and ambulatory residents in a tranquil atmosphere. We know through your love and support we will be able to obtain this dream. Special "Thanks" to those family and friends of Bethlen Home that have already donated towards this dream. We would like to take this opportunity to "Thank" Reverend Raymond Kaiser and his congregation of the Hungarian Evangelical Reformed Church of Dayton, Ohio for their most generous donation. Special "Thanks" to Julie Warden and her family and friends for their recent memorial donations in memory of her husband, Eugene Warden. Eugene was very active in the Bethlen Home Activity Program as a volunteer in past years. He was also a very strong believer and supporter of his church. I feel very pleased that Gene's memory will live on through this chapel. Chaplain s Corner A Praver For Easter Almighty God, whose blessed Son Jesus Christ sent forth his apostles, to make him known unto all nations; fill thy church throughout the world with his risen power. Pour out thy spirit on those who are called to minister in His name. As they break the bread of life to others, let their own souls be nourished and sustained. O God, who has promised thy son the uttermost parts of the earth for His possession; take away the veil from the heart of thy people Israel, that they may behold the Messiah promised to the fathers; and hasten the day when the fullness of the gentiles shall be gathered in and all men shall know Him as Savior and worship Him as Lord. Heavenly Father please rule the hearts of men in all classes of the people. Rebuke the power of unbelief and superstition, and preserve to us thy pure words, in its liberty and glory to the end of days. Merciful Father, we commend to thee all who are in any way afflicted. Relieve those who suffer; restore health and strength to those who are sick. In Christ, who is the Resurrection and Life, let the heavy-laden find strength to endure, and those who are in the valley of the shadow see the light of life eternal. Give to those in sorrow or loneliness the assurance that nothing can ever separate them from thy love, which is in Jesus Christ our Lord. We thank thee that, by raising Him from the dead that death hath no more dominion over Him. We praise they that having overcome the sharpness of death, He opened the kingdom of heaven to all believers; and that because He lives, we shall live also. Thanks be to thee O God, who giveth us the victory, through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
