Cfje Messenger FALL/WINTER ISSUE • SEPTEMBER • OCTOBER • NOVEMBER, 1991 P.O. Box 657, Ligonier, PA 15658-0657 &ctíWtp 3f)ígfjlí0f)ts Dear Friends, I write this letter to you with much sadness. Because of personal and financial problems I must leave Bethlen Home to take another position. I shall miss all of you. We have enjoyed many happy times together and I shall cherish them always. I doubt that I shall ever find such a special place again, with such special people, to work beside. I love you all. My last day will be August 23rd, 1991. As I say farewell to all of you, I pray God will always watch over and bless all the residents and employees of Bethlen Home. I pray that He will provide guidance for all those making decisions and giving care. I feel God has determined my destiny and I ask you to pray that He would continue. As I say farewell I asked God to have our paths cross again. You are all very special, caring people and you shall remain in my heart always. GATEWAY CLIPPER OUTING Each year the Activity Department takes a pleasure outing on the Gateway Clipper Fleet in Pittsburgh. On August 9th, a group of residents and volunteers went for the luncheon cruise. The day turns out to be beautiful. Residents enjoyed a great lunch and a relaxing time listening to the entertainment and watching the scenic views from the deck of the ship. The day ended with a stop at the local Dairy Queen. We're already looking forward to next year. I
