Winter 2010 Branch 501, 502—St. George, NJ Richard Michael Pauli Our Branch would like to welcome its newest members, Lisa and Kelly Melan- son and Ryan Masterson, all of Metuchen, New Jersey. Richard Michael Pauli, a student at Rutgers University Mason Gross School of Music, is also a member of the Rutgers University Marching Band and the University Pep Band. On Nov. 7, 2010, our St. Michael’s Church held a holiday auction at which time many of our very hard working Branch members participated in various ways. Food was prepared and served in the kitchen and complimentary coffee and cake was served during intermission. We are also preparing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. I, as Branch Manager, always enjoy adding my own personal touch of something crocheted or handmade. Previously, it was pony tail holders of various colors. This year, I have decided to use Christmas yarn for the pony tail holders which I hope will bring cheer to the youngsters. Mrs. Margaret Pauli, Branch Manager Margaret Pauli’s Crafts Reach MN Hospice The following article was published in Owatonna's, MN local newspaper. Cedarview Care Center in Owatonna, MN expressed its appreciation for the 50 holiday hand-made crafts donated to the staff, families, residents, cooks, nurses, and maintenance workers at its November party. Activities Director Sue Hancock said, “It’s rare that the entire hospice staff is treated to such delightful goodies, in this case, colorful crocheted covers over jars filled with candies and toiletries placed at each person’s luncheon table setting." Margaret Pauli, wife of former HRFA Director Michael Pauli, Jr. and Branch Manager, 501 and 502, spent countless hours making these pieces which were then sent to this hospice 65 miles south of Minneapolis. Cedarview Care Center was recently purchased by the Dominican Sisters of Mercy and operates as one of the finest facilities in MN for those facing end-of-life health issues. Margaret’s gifts are indicative of her love and concern for others over the many past years. Branch 368, 307— Passaic, Cliffside, NJ Rev. Vásárhelyi, Father Vas, Ilona Ékes, Rep.
