Daryl Metcalfe, Tracy House, Ela Metcalfe, Peggy Fabri, Rick Hobruce, Joe Fabri Branch 176—Gary, IN Pro-Life Awareness Dinner at Harmony, PA September 10, 2009, with Rep. Daryl Metcalfe The awareness dinner has been in the planning throughout the summer with advertising to make people aware of the program because it was the first of its kind in our area. We had a good turnout with the tickets being $25 for dinner and the program. The dinner started at 6 PM with chicken, potatoes, almond, green beans and salad, coffee and iced tea. We served cake and coffee. The program started after dinner with Jim Powers as host, and he introduced all who spoke. Our main speaker was Sheila Boyle from Cannonsburg, PA. Sheila had started two women centers and had much to say on the subject of pro-life. Her experience was quite informative to all who attended. Brochures were given at the end of the program for information to those who wanted to know more. Jim Powers thanked all who helped with the program and introduced our Rep. Daryl Metcalfe who spoke about our first awareness dinner. Each year will be more successful once information gets out to the public. Peggy Fabri Branch 151 Manager and Fraternal Administrator Mikulás ünnepség: Kovács Marika, mint Santa Claus újra nagy sikert aratott a December 12-én tartott, immár 14-ik Kossuth Klub-Mikulás estjén. Rövid összefoglaló a 2009-es magyar piknikekről Június utolsó vasárnapján megtartottuk az Amerikai Magyar Polgári kör piknikjét. A tagjaink részt vettek mind a három piknik előkészületeiben. Július második vasárnapján tartottuk a Kossuth Klub piknikjét, majd a Holy Trinity templom piknikje következett. Mind a három nagy eseményt itt, NW Indianaban rendeztük. A menü a szokásokhoz híven sült kolbász, töltött káposzta, pörkölt nokedlival, lángos és sütemények tömkelegé volt, amely rendkívül boldoggá tette a finom, magyar ízeket kedvelő társaságot. Reméljük az idei, vagyis a 2010 es piknikjeink is ilyen sikeresek lesznek. Szeretettel üdvözölte az HRFA is kedves Körömi Marika nénit 90. születésnapja alkalmából. A szorgalmas és mindig a magyar ügyet támogató Marika néni mindig ott van, ahol szükség van a segítségére, hogy elérhető legyen a siker a nemes célokért. Készül a lángos a Kossuth Klub piknikjén 11
