lejül Ijejsj fficjtjiMtJejSj HRFA Crafter Margaret Pauli Written by Kathy Megyeri On August 21, 2007, Hungarian Ambassador Simonyi gave his farewell address at the Hungarian Embassy in Washington, DC. He and his wife Nada are returning to Budapest as he enters a new career in the private sector. Many of the international attendees received a token of HRFA's largesse from Mrs. Margaret Pauli, wife of HRFA Board Member Michael Pauli, Jr.. Members and Directors of the American Hungarian Federation, the Congress of Romanian Americans, the Hungarian American Coalition, the Hungarian Embassy office staff, and U.S. Congress Judiciary Committee members each received ajar with one of her handcrafted covers. Fong-time crafter and supporter of HRFA fraternal activities, Margaret's gifts that were presented at this milestone event were one of the highlights as many commented on the time, money and effort Margaret donated to make this day special for so many. In her usual modest manner, Margaret said, "I was pleased to be part of this event to see such illustrious attendees depart with some of my handicrafts to remember this day of celebration following St. Stephen's Day, an important time for all Hungarians." Margaret is embarking on a new project that she encourages other fraternalists to embrace, the Warm-Up America Project.
