Zoltán Héder, member of branch 62: Jelenleg Magyarországon a tatabányai székhelyű Modern Üzleti Tudományok Főiskolájának (College for Modem Business Studies) harmadik évfolyamos hallgatója vagyok. Segítem a Rezi népdalkórus munkáját is (kórustalálkozók). A Rezi kultúrházban működő számítógépes klubban segítek a fiatalabb korosztálynak az Internet és a számítógépek helyes használatában. Kulturális programokban is részt veszek (Pl: szüreti felvonulás, idősek klubjának előadás szervezés) Előre is hálás köszönet a segítségért. Nagyon sokat számit a segítsége tanulmányaim elvégzéséhez és terveim megvalósításához. Testvérsegitő szeretettel és tisztelettel: Héder Zoltán (Zoltán was recommended by Branch Manager Maria Kovács) Helga Bakk, member of Branch 259: My name is Helga Bakk, I am a proud Hungarian, and a member of the First Hungarian Presbyterian Church in Windsor Ontario Canada, where I have been the church organist for almost four years. Since I was 13, I have been working at the Hungarian Cultural Centre in Windsor, serving tables and helping with food sales during the Carousel of Nations. The Hungarian tradition is very strong in my family. My mother and father are very proud Hungarians; and have worked hard to provide my sister and me with the prospect of becoming successful individuals, with their love and support. Ever since we have moved to Canada, my mother and father have only spoken Hungarian with me, in order to insure that I do not forget my native language. My parents are a good example of patriotic Hungarians, and I plan to follow their example with my own children. I am currently in my second year of Psychology with Honors at the University of Windsor. I have good grades and work hard, at school, at church and at my part time job. Ever since 1 was a little girl, I have dreamt of becoming a psychologist, and helping people with their troubles. I am very excited about pursuing such a rewarding career. This summer 1 am very pleased to be participating in a Volunteer Internship Program through the University of Windsor, which is an exciting opportunity for students to gain some experience in the working world, and to really start helping people. My dream is to obtain my PhD in Psychology and to own my own clinic where I can help people with their problems. I would like to thank the Hungarian Reformed Federations of America for giving so many intelligent young students the opportunity to further their careers. It is wonderful to see a strong organization that rewards the hard work and efforts of students. I would also extend my gratitude to Margaret Saltzer, who has been a great inspiration and a supportive friend for so many years. Thank you for recommending me to receive this great gift, and thanks to everyone for making a difference. Helga Bakk (Helga was recommended by Branch Manager Margaret H.
