Women connect with home affairs and create a warm atmosphere to engage family members. 5. Follow-up your meetings with continued interest in your client. Call them or hand-deliver the policy and keep in touch. When something new comes up in HRFA, inform them. Invite them to gatherings and send out cards of upcoming events. If they feel connected, they feel part of a larger entity This personal contact is what makes us different from commercial insurance companies. 6. Do your homework. Inform yourself on what other fraternal companies offer and their prices. Then, you can speak intelligently to the client who many times has shopped around and is aware of comparative pricing and products. 7. Plant the seed; oftentimes people come back years later and then they are ready to buy from you. You don’t always hit a homerun on the first try, but if they know you are in the business of insurance, when the time is right for them and their circumstances, they will remember you, regard you as a familiar face and concerned person, and then express an interest in HRFA offerings. That’s when sales are made. Ten Reasons to be Proud to be a Hungarian By Kathy A. Megyeri Did you know that the following were Hungarian? 1.
