Alexander Jalso (Br. 126,153,158,226) Joseph Berei (Br. 197,245) THE 6th ANNUAL BETHLEN HOME/HRFA GOLF TOURNAMENT By Pat Arme! “Keeping an eye on that Hole-in-one” are Leslie Megyeri and Bill Nicholas Nearly 120 golfers attended the 6th Annual Bethlen Home/HRFA Golf Tournament on Saturday, July 17, 2004, at Champion Lakes Golf Club near Li- gonier, PA. The event began with Rev. Imre A. Bertalan offering a prayer thanking the Lord for the golfers and the beautiful day. A dinner followed with the Rev. Stefan M. Torok welcoming the guests and Rev. Imre A. Bertalan giving the invocation. Rev. Torok and Mr. George Dózsa presented the 2004 Honorees in memoriam: László Eszenyi, Rev. Dr. Stephen Szabó and Bela Toth. They were remembered for their dedication and hard work for the HRFA. The evening ended with drawings and door prizes. The proceeds of the Golf Tournament will benefit the Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Department of the new nursing facility of the Bethlen Home. The Golf Committee Members were: Jim Szuch (Chairman), John K.Morey, Joe Fabri, Rev. Imre A. Bertalan, Teri Pflum, Dave Thomas and Pat Armel. We wish to send a special “Thanks” to Kathy Megyeri for making and donating the lovely decorations for the dinner tables. They were a hit!!! We could not reach the success of this tournament without the hole sponsors, gift donations and the dedicated volunteers. Next year’s event is already in the planning for July 16, Kathy Megyeri with her table decorations 2005.
