Page 4 TESTVÉRISÉG The Federation has placed the following duties and responsibilities into the contract of the fraternal coordinators: 1. To coordinate with each branch manager and/or agent, the date, time and location for branch meetings and to offer assistance in the planning of fraternal activities. The Fraternal Coordinators are also encouraged to attend the annual meeting of each branch under their supervision at the discretion of the branch managers. 2. To assume responsibility in their territory to ensure that all meetings are conducted in accordance with the Bylaws of the Federation. 3. To assist branch managers in reporting on their annual activities and to see that these reports are mailed to the Home Office no later than March 15th each year. 4. To assume responsibility for the planning of fraternal activities either individually or jointly for branches under their care, especially Join Hands Day, which is an NFC A activity. 5. To submit articles and photos of all activities to the Home Office. 6. To participate in pre-arranged teleconferences with the National Fraternal Coordinator from time to time. 7. To keep in touch and be responsible to the National Fraternal Coordinator of the Home Office Teri Pflum. It is the hope of the Board of Directors that, upon the assumption of the duties of the Area Fraternal Coordinators, the President of the Federation and the National Fraternal Coordinator will have a closer association with the field force. As to the sales and marketing issues, a discussion was held concerning the collection fee structure and service fee payout to branch managers. CFO Bill Puskas, Jr. and I gave an overview and history of these issues after which a long discussion followed by the Board. A unanimous resolution was passed to eliminate the collection fee after the first half of the year. This has already been communicated to all branch managers. Also, the Board passed a new resolution to extend the service fee to be paid to branch managers. This was also communicated to the branch managers in the form of a memo together with the checks due. It is with gratifying knowledge that, even in the heat of summer when others think of their vacation and well deserved rest, the Board of Directors of the HRFA meets and makes responsible decisions that can and, we all believe, will further the good work of our Society. The second part of the summer get-together of the Board was more in line with fellowship and relaxation. In this issue you will find separate articles about the Annual Golf Tournament and Ligonier Fraternal Day. Rev. Stefan M. Torok Pres ident/CE O EMLÉKEZZÜNK 1956. És néma nemzetünk helyett mi kiáltsuk a hatalmasoknak: Most mi hozzuk a fáklyáinkat, ezer fáklyát, ezer halottnak! The Board in session
