Kobi was born November 2, 2001 and is the son of Christopher and Becky Mason, and the grandson of Erika Mason, who is the Claims and Underwriting Secretary at the EIRFA Home Office in Washington, D.C. Kobi’s father, Chris, is also an HRFA member and is sta­tioned with his family in Sacra­mento, California, with the United States Air Force. We wish God’s blessings on little Kobi and his family. Kobi Evan Mason Branch 368 - Passaic, New Jersey Remembering the Freedom Fighters of 1956 In October 2001, we placed a wreath at the Freedom Fighters Monument, 3rd Ward Memorial Park, in memory of the valiant fighters of 1956. Ted Harsaghy, Branch Manager 973-340-9075 Branch 501 - Metuchen, New Jersey Hungarian Christmas Cookies The St. George District Branch 501 of the HRFA spon­sored a home baked Hungarian Christmas Cookie Sale for the benefit of the Paul Gyukeri Scholarship Fund. The walnut, apricot and lekvár filled cakes in Christmas cookie tins were baked by Branch Manager, Mrs. Marga­ret Pauli. Each order came with a hand crocheted Christmas ornament. The cookies were sold at the Christmas Family Breakfast sponsored by St. Michael's Holy Name Society, at which time St.Nicholas paid a visit. Due to the overwhelming response at the Breakfast, ad­ditional orders were taken to be filled in the following weeks.
