FRATERNITY Page 21 Holy Trinity is the home of several clubs and organizations. This strengthens and supports both the church and the clubs that find a home here. Among the most notable are the Northwest Indiana Kossuth Club and the Hungarian American Citizen’s Club. We would like to congratulate Holy Trinity on its birthday, and we are looking forward to the centennial. We hope and pray that it will never lose its great leadership role and inspiration to our community. Bishop Melczek called this anniversary “a grand and glorious day.” We wholeheartedly agree. The Hungarian Benefit Musical Program was a complete success. An enthusiastic group of generous people enjoyed the delicious Hungarian food prepared by our Ladies Guild, and the delightful Hungarian musical sounds that emanated from the piano and violin played by László and Maria Cser. We are absolutely grateful to Dr. and Mrs. Cser for donating their talents, for without them, this benefit would have not been possible. Both Dr. and Mrs. Cser have been members of the Los Angeles Hungarian community for decades, with each contributing their talents to good causes, playing in various orchestras, and teaching music privately as well as at the university level. We ask God to bless them both abundantly for their unflagging generosity to our church and the community at large. We are also grateful for the help we received from the people in our congregation for the event, in alphabetical order: Tunde Bacsa, Piroska Castillo, Ilona Garai, Dr. Carmen Hoft, Ibolya and Ferenc Hudak, Jasmine Laubender, Betty Warga, and others. We are also grateful to Vicki Sergei, a long-tine supporter of our church, whose Los Angeles baker (B&H International Bakery) donated the bread and pastries for the event. Finally, we say a big thank you to L. to r.: Marge Nicholas, Barb Sember, Linda Cowin, and Christine Clark.
