Branch Members Andy Szabó and George Bolash working the grill. We are pleased to introduce Michael Szőke, member of our branch, who graduated from Trenton High School, Michigan, Class of 2001, with a 3.99 GPA (on 4.0 scale). He finished 3rd in his class of 225. Michael sparkled with examples of tremendous achievement in and out of the classroom. It is rare to find student athletes who are able to balance success in the classroom and high achievement on the athletic fields as well. Whether it was taking higher classes at a University or helping to lead his baseball team to the state semifinals, Michael always gave it his all. He also matched those successes with involvement in student clubs and various organizations. Michael’s advice to underclassmen is to “try as many new endeavors as possible, may it be joining a club, playing sports, or taking a new class. The more variety one is exposed to, the more he or she will know what they want to do in the future.” Because of his athletic and academic honors, he was accepted at the universities of Michigan - Ann Arbor, Northwestern, Purdue, Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, and Albion College. He also received various scholarship offers from all 5 schools. Michael selected University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. He would like to major in Chemical Engineering and Physics. He plans to play hockey and baseball for the school. Michael is the son of branch members Mr. and Mrs. John Bujdoso. We join them in wishing Michael God’s richest blessings on all his future endeavors.
