She is seen on the photograph with her sister Samantha who is a member since 1998. Both girls are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Brindza and the granddaughters of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brindza. Branch 368 - Passaic, New Jersey At the annual meeting of our branch held January 21,2001 at 2:00 P.M., we elected the following officers: Robert J. Harsaghy, President; Elizabeth Győri, Vice Presi­dent; Filomena Harsaghy, Treasurer; and Beth Anne Schimmenti, Secretary. Branch Manager Ted Harsaghy reported on the HRFA Convention of 2000. Plans were discussed concerning par­ticipation of branch members in the Maria Poes picnic in Matwan, New Jersey on the 1st Sunday in August. Refreshments were served before the adjournment of the meeting at 3:00 P.M. Theodore Harsaghy, Branch Manager 973-340-9075 Branch 501 - Metuchen, New Jersey The meeting was opened by President Margaret Pauli on February 26,2001 at 8:00 P.M. Director Michael Pauli, Jr. offered the prayer. The branch paid their respect at the passing of 50- year-old member Stephen Kato. It was reported that member Kimberly Pauli attended the “Model U.N. Program” held at the Hilton Towers Hotel in Washington, D.C. on February 21-24, 2001. She is a junior at Mt. St. Mary’s High School in Watchung, New Jersey and represented her school at the event. The results of last year’s Maria Poes Fraternal Day were discussed. Plans were formulated to have a joint meeting of the participating branches to consider the allo­cation of funds and initiate plans for this year’s function. We are assisting the Bethlen Home in the sale of their cookbook and Director Pauli is donating handcraft to the gift shop. Maria Poes Fraternal Day is set for Sunday, August 5, 2001 at the Basilian Fathers Monastery in Matawan, New Jersey starting at noon.
