FRATERNITY Page 23 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Tariska with Board Members Rev. Stefan M. Torok and Mr. Albert St. Miklosy. was given that the purpose of this meeting was to elect 1 delegate and 1 alternate to the upcoming Convention. The presence of 31 members constituted the quorum. Delegate elected: Cecelia St. Miklosy - Alternate: Cynthia Torok. The Branch President extended an invitation to a fellowship coffee hour sponsored by Branch 80. He also shared the happy news that today we were celebrating the 50th wedding anniversary of our members Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Tariska. Rev. Stefan M. Torok, President Branch 84 - Aurora, Illinois The delegate election meeting was held on May 27, 2000. Members as well as non-members attended the meeting. Discussion revolved around the history of the HRFA and its membership. Also discussed were the possibilities to encourage members to attend upcoming meetings and activities. Delegate elected: Ava Kakoczki - Alternate: Emery Kakoczki. Emery Kakoczki, President Branch 93 - Wharton, New Jersey Our Pastor Charles Olah opened the delegate election meeting on May 21, 2000. Branch Manager István Szmetena welcomed the members and explained the purpose of the meeting. Delegate elected: Jolán Szmetena - Alternate: István Szmetena. László Dados, President Branch 100 - Chicago, Illinois The delegate election meeting was held on April 15, 2000. Eleven members were present as was Mr. Joseph Kovács, official observer of the Federation. Branch Manager András Demeter opened the meeting with a prayer and welcomed all members. The Children 's Choir of the Hungarian Baptist Church of Chicago presents its Christmas program. Playing the violin is Adam Demeter. Program Director is András Demeter. Fraternal activities were discussed. The Branch Manager outlined future activities and presented a synopsis of activities since he took over the branch 2 Vi years ago. Next on the agenda was the delegate election for the upcoming Convention. The results were: Delegate elected: András Demeter - Alternate: Joseph Szabó. Following the election, food and refreshments were served and fellowship was enjoyed by all. András Demeter, Branch Manager Branch 112 - Medina, Ohio On May 13, 2000, Mr. László Kernes brought the meeting to order. Prayer was led by Mr. Steve Salay. At this point, Mr. Kernes explained that the purpose of this special meeting was to vote for a delegate who would represent our branch at the HRFA Convention in September 2000. Delegate elected: László Kernes - Alternate: Matyas Vidacs. Ilona E. Riedl Branch 126 - Daisy town, Pennsylvania The delegate election meeting was held on April, 30, 2000. Branch Manager, Rev. Alexander Jalso, opened the meeting by greeting the members present and thanking them for their attendance. Also present were Director Clara Csikesz and her husband Bela Csikesz. The Branch Manager then explained in detail the purpose of the meeting. The results of the delegate election were as follows: Delegate elected: Rev. Alexander Jalso - Alternate: Irene Jalso.
