The duration of the lending period be up to maximum 25 years and the maximum principal is $200,000. Guidelines to be set by the Executive Committee. • That the non-medical limits for all products be raised as follows: Old limits: Age 0-45: $25,000; 46-55: $10,000; 56-80: $5,000. New Limits: Age 0-16: $25,000; 17-50: $50,000; 51-65: $10,000; 66-80: $5,000 with the stipulation to give the medical director or the underwriter the right to reject or request a medical examination or EKG on any application regardless of the face amount. • That the Executive Committee implement a contest for young people, offering them an opportunity to display their talents, hobbies, etc. at the upcoming convention with winners to be announced at the convention. • That the Executive Committee immediately implement a photo contest for all members of the E1RFA with photos to be displayed at the Convention and prizes to be awarded to the winners. • That the report of the Secretary be accepted with thanks. The Secretary has fulfilled his duties and responsibilities as required by the By-Laws of the HRFA, and that he be released from his responsibilities for the year 1999 and be thanked for his energetic and dedicated service to the Federation. • That the Student Aid & Loan grant be increased from $500 to $600. Endre Csornán, Recording Secretary HRFA National Secretary Endre Csornán elected to the Board of Directors of Secretaries’ Section of the NFC A The Secretaries’ Section Mid-Year Meeting was held in Clearwater, Florida on March 9-11, 2000. The theme was “Building a New Fraternal Century.” It was attended by 37 secretaries and 30 guests and presenters. David A. Tetzlaff, Executive Vice President of the National Fraternal Congress of America (NFCA), gave an update of NFCA activities. This was followed by reports given by the various NFCA society member representatives. National Secretary of the HRFA Endre Csornán was elected to the Board of Directors of the Secretaries’ Section of the National Fraternal Congress of America.
