FRATERNITY Page 23 /wmcA 0/14 er/M BRANCH 3 - FAIRPORT HARBOR, OHIO With great sorrow we announce the death of our member Barbara (Koncz) Szaniszlo of Perry, Ohio on June 26, 1998. She was 103 years old. She was born on August 13, 1894 in Pany, Hungary. She arrived in New York City on March 1, 1911. She joined her brother in Medina, Ohio Mrs. Barbara (Koncz) Szaniszlo. an^ then later moved to Cleveland, Ohio where she did housework until her marriage to her husband Paul. The two of them were married at the Cleveland 1st Church on East 79th Street by the Rev. Sándor Toth. They moved back to Medina where Paul had been born. Then in 1922 they moved to Perry, Ohio to a small farm where their children Ernie and Martha were bom. She was a loving wife, a caring homemaker and a gracious lady. Preceding her in death are her husband Paul, who died in 1965, parents John Koncz and Katalin; 4 brothers in the USA and 2 brothers in Europe, and many nieces and nephews in America and Europe. She is greatly missed by her family and relatives, all her many friends and her church family at the Fairport Hungarian Reformed Church. God bless the memory of Barbara (Koncz) Szaniszlo. THE COMBINED BRANCHES OF CLEVELAND, OHIO In conjunction with the Churchmen’s Brotherhood and the Junior Youth Fellowship, the combined branches of Cleveland (Branches 2,4 and 352) sponsored and underwrote the costs of a fraternal fellowship day held at the 1st Hungarian Reformed Church of Cleveland on August 6, 1998. The youth had a very successful fund raising car wash. The HRFA members distributed zsiros kenyer by the tray, and served hot dogs, hamburgers, homemade potato salad and delicious Hungarian pastries. The nine hardworking young men and women were guests of the Federation, while the nearly sixty assembled guests were amazed that the minimal cost of admission included so much food plus door prizes.
