Page 32 TESTVÉRISÉG The helping hands of our young members were much appreciated. As the host branch for the 35th Quadrennial Convention, the remaining proceeds will be used to host a dinner for the National Officers, Directors and Delegates, and their spouses. The Special Meeting was held at the Magyar Reformed Church in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Sunday, April 14, 1996, 2:10 P.M. Branch President Jerry Wyttenbach called the meeting to order. It was verified that all branch members attending signed the roster and that a quorum was established according to HRFA By-Laws. Nominations and elections for delegates and alternates to the 1996 HRFA convention then took place. Elected were: Jerry Wyttenbach and William B. Puskas, Sr., delegates; Cynthia Dózsa, first alternate; August J. Molnár, second alternate. The meeting was adjourned by President Wyttenbach at 3:00 P.M. William B. Puskas, Jr., Secretary BRANCH 313 - LINDEN, NJ The meeting was held on May 19,1996, following a picnic held at the Free Magyar Reformed Church in Linden, New Jersey. It was opened by President Rev. Ambrose Batiz, who offered a prayer. President Batiz stated that the purpose of the meeting was to elect a delegate and alternate for the convention in September. A sufficient number of members was present to constitute the required quorum for the meeting. Elected were: Rev. Ambrose Batiz, delegate; John Nagy, Jr., first alternate; Clare Balog, second alternate. Members of the branch congratulated Robert S. Balog upon his recent graduation from Rutgers College of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in electrical engineering. He will be starting a new job in Pennsylvania and will be moving to the Bethlehem area in the near future. We wished him well in his new endeavor. Director Priscilla Hunyady asked all Branch Managers to participate at the opening parade ceremonies at the Hungarian Festival to be held in New Brunswick, New Jersey, A warm welcome is extended to Christina and Victoria Borbas, newest members of Br. 302. Fellowship was enjoyed by all at the fundraising dinner.
