FRATERNITY Page 23 Children, parents and friends - all enjoyed the annual Christmas party of Branch 302 Treasurer Jenny Bihary presented the financial report which was accepted. Reports were given on the sick and the shut-ins. One member got married, two graduated from high school and three members passed away. Our summer picnic was a great success, and we plan having another one on Sunday, July 16, 1995, which will be in conjunction with a fund-raiser. We contributed to the student aid fund and helped clean up the Hungarian Cultural Garden of Cleveland. The following officers were elected for 1995: Rev. Szabolcs Kalman, President; Rev. Aaron Elek, Vice President; Genevieve Bihary, Treasurer; Irene Elek, Secretary; Goldie Maxim, Trustee. Rev. Kalman gave a prayer for our departed members and the sick and shut-ins. contributions at this time and maintain the funds in contemplation of activity to be sponsored by the branch during the Convention. It was noted that the branch held its annual Christmas party for the children of the branch on Saturday afternoon, December 10, 1994 at the Fellowship Hall of the Magyar Reformed Church in New Brunswick. An enjoyable time was had by all who attended, and gifts provided by the branch and the Home Office were given to the children. The concept of having a Christmas party for the adults as well was discussed, and it was agreed to give this matter further consideration. The next order of business was to set a date for the branch’s Annual Fellowship Dinner, the major branch function of the year. A report on this function will appear in the next issue of the Fraternity. The next order of business was the election of branch officers for 1995. The following individuals were reelected: Jerry Wyttenbach, President; Matilda Dózsa, Vice President; Anna Lipoczky, Treasurer; William B. Puskas, Jr., Secretary. The next branch meeting was set for Tuesday, May 16, 1995 at 6:30 P.M. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 P.M. William B.
