We thank Goldie Maxim for the refreshments. Irene B. Elek, Secretary PENNSYLVANIA NEWS Our Rankin Branch 203 was instrumental to enable the newly organized Hungarian language classes of the First Hungarian Reformed Church of Pittsburgh to hold a very successful Hungarian Christmas party. On December 15, 1993 all 13 participants in the two Hungarian classes taught by the pastor, Rev. Aladar Komjáthy, received the very meaningful gifts: Federation pins of the two flags from the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America. The members of the class (ages 2 to 72) sent a very nice thank you note to the head office of the Federation. We are thankful to branch manager Bert Olah to have made the arrangements with Endre Csornán, our beloved secretary. Vice-Elder Franki Matthews presented the pins and the youngest student April Toth received a Hungarian blouse, and her mother, Zsuzsi Toth, who cooked and baked for the Christmas party: a Hungarian apron. The beginners class greeted the arriving members of the advanced class with Hungarian Christmas carols. The class uses the Magyar Reader of the late Rev. Endre Sebestyen, which was printed by Albert Fiok many years ago. Both names represent the very best of our Federation history. Bert Olah, Manager Br. 203 BRANCH 352 - CLEVELAND, OH Meeting was held at the West Side Hungarian Reformed Church on February 6, 1994 at 12:30 P.M. The opening prayer was offered by Rev. Szabolcs Kalman. Minutes of last year’s meeting and the financial report were accepted as read. We prayed for our members who passed away last year and also for all who are sick and the shut-ins. The secretary reported on last year’s successful picnic and bacon roast. We raised $51.00 for the Student Aid Fund. Report was given on the combined Cleveland Children’s Christmas Party held at the West Side Lutheran Church. We are planning to participate in this combined event again this year. Plans were made for our next picnic on July 10, 1994. We will advertise this event on the Hungarian Radio Station. The proceeds will go to the Student Aid Fund. Last year the West Side Church went to the Bethlen EKUMENIKUS ISTENTISZTELET A kis magyar templom Beaver Falls-on karácsonyi ünneplőbe öltözött 1993. december 12-én. A karácsony gyertyái fényesen csillogtak, a templom harangja ismét megszólalt. Immár hatodszor volt közös keresztény “Ekumenikus” istentisztelet, amit a Willian Penn és a Református Egyesület közösen szponzorált a Third Avenue-i Presbiteriánus Templomban (1012 3rd Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010), a Krisztusban Egyesült Egyház Kálvin Zsinatához tartozó magyar református templomban. A közös keresztény istentiszteletet Posta József tiszteletes úr Ligonierból, Bányász William - Basil atya a Beaver Falls-i Orthodox templomból, valamint a Beaver Falls Westmayfieldi Római Katolikus templom plébánosa, Francis Frazer atya celebrálta. Az istentisztelet előtt az elmúlhatatlanul örökszép Bethlehemi jelenetet mutatták be a gyermekek Csornán
