FRATERNITY Page 15 Mrs. Edith Kovács Mrs. Kovács’s professional expertise is widely recognized. It is because of her professional skills and nurturing management style that the Bethlen Home and Retirement Cottages have received rave reviews throughout the State of Pennsylvania. Helen Szuch, Sharon, PA BRANCH 300 - WASHINGTON, D.C. The youngest member of our branch is Emily D. Ebner born May 7, 1993. Emily is also the youngest grandchild of the late President of Branch 300, Steve Ebner, and his wife Franciska. We welcome Emily into our fraternal family, and wish her and her family God’s richest blessings. Eva Kiss, Branch Manager BRANCH 352 - CLEVELAND, OH A picnic was held on the picnic grounds of the West Side Hungarian Reformed Church. Members and church friends had a very enjoyable afternoon. Vying for honors of the best “szalonna” cookers were Rev. Elek, Goldie Maxim, Joe Bak, and Ed Bihary. We all did savor a wide variety of delicious bacondripping sandwiches, sausage, hamburgers, etc. We also enjoyed the contents of many picnic baskets. We did raise $51.00 at this event which we forwarded to the Student Aid Fund of the Federation. We ask all members to support this fund which is to the benefit of our young members attending college. Rev. Elek gave a short prayer for the sick and shut- in members. We look forward with much anticipation to our next cook-out. Ed Bihary, Director Ed Bihary seems to be enjoying the szalonna sütés Stalwarts who stayed to the end Emily D. Ebner
