Page 16 TESTVÉRISÉG Elizabeth and Matthew are very active in sports, Elizabeth being the Lexington Reserve Junior Equitation Grand Champion and Reserve 13-and-under Champion. Matthew is also very involved in football. Matthew Andrus, 7th grade football team We are happy to welcome these children to our fraternal family; they are the fourth generation members in the HRFA, and follow a long and honored tradition by joining an organization to which their ancestors belonged. William B. Puskas, Honorary Treasurer Introducing the Reverend Ollie Hall Ollie was bom in Perth Amboy, NJ on December 7, 1933 to Mrs. Imre Benkő. Her father, Imre Benkő, had died seven months earlier that year. In 1956, Ollie married Gary Curtiss Hall, First Lt. U.S. Army. Their only child, Doctor Pamela E. Hall, is a licensed Clinical Psychologist. The military lifestyle took Ollie to live in sixteen different states in the southern and western parts of the United States. Ollie decided to return to college in 1986. Two years later she transferred to Wagner College, Staten Island, NY where she graduated Cum Laude with the B.A. degree. She then attended the Yale Divinity School in New Haven, CT and earned a Master’s of Divinity degree in 1992. She holds membership in several national honor societies and hopes to be a Fellow in Budapest, Hungary, from 1993-1994 through the Fascell Fellowship Program. At present, she is serving as a Supply Minister. Recently she has preached in Trenton, Perth Amboy, NJ and So. Norwalk, CT. She completed a year’s internship at the Hungarian Reformed Church in Wallingford, CT and a year as student chaplain at the Masonic Home and Hospital also in Wallingford, working with the elderly and bereaved. Ollie Bankó Hall Ollie has been a loyal member of the Federation for many years, and our good wishes accompany her wherever she may go. Julianna Tompa, Branch Manager BRANCH 352 - CLEVELAND, OH Meeting was called to order by President Rev. Aaron Elek who also gave the opening prayer. Minutes of the previous meeting and Treasurer’s report were read and approved. Balance on hand is $104.55. Reverend Elek reported on the Convention. Branch Manager Ed Bihary stated that the top priority for us was to seek new members and that Churches should support the Federation. Branch activities for the year: We will work on sending a busload of visitors to the Bethlen Home this summer. We will hold our annual picnic on the grounds of the West Side Hungarian Reformed Church on Sunday, July 11, 1993. We will hold a chicken paprikás and dumpling dinner as a fund raiser. We ask all members and friends to join in fellowship and support our activities. The following officers were elected for 1993: Rev. Aaron Elek, President; Rev. Szabolcs Kalman, Vice President; Jenny Bihary, Treasurer; Irene Elek, Secretary; Goldie Maxim and Rose Muller, Trustees.
