Szép népművészeti tárgyak kerültek sorsolásra a nyertesek nagy örömére. Körülbelül 180 személy vett részt az ebéden - vidám baráti együttléttel, poharazgatással telt a vasárnap délután. Köszönet a Taba családnak és a Benedek házaspárnak. Paul Der, Branch President The Branch held its annual meeting on March 2, Right to Left: Zsoka and Pista Benedek, hosts of the annual picnic of Br. 300. 1993 in the Kossuth House, Washington, D.C. The newly elected officers are: Rev. Imre Bertalan, President; Tibor Pflum, Vice President; Iren Vallario, Treasurer; Eva Kiss: Secretary; Teri Pflum, Comptroller. Three special committees were established: Organizing Committee: Andrew Spevak, Chairman; Cultural Committee: Steven Major, Chairman, and Social Membership Committee: Maria Wood, Chairperson. It was decided that the Branch would hold meetings on a regular basis, at least once a month. Further, on popular demand, it was decided to have a picnic at the Benedek Farm some time in September this year. Youngest member of our Branch is Kelly Susanne Brady, daughter of Susanne and Jack Brady. Kelly Susanne is the granddaughter of Eva and László Eszenyi. Eva Kiss, Branch Manager Kelly Susanne Brady BRANCH 302 - NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ Vice President László Lipoczky opened the annual meeting of our branch on January 14, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. After a silent prayer, reports were presented on the following topics: 1) The annual Christmas party held in December. 2) The retirement dinner held in New Brunswick on December 5, 1992 honoring Rev. Imre Bertalan, past president; William B. Puskas, past treasurer, and Rt.Rev. Dezső Abraham, past board V.P. This event, attended by approximately 300, was a great success. Officers of our branch took a great part in organizing the dinner. A tentative date - April 24, 1993 - was set for the annual branch dinner. The next branch meeting will be held on April 14, 1993 at 7:00 P.M. Location will be the office of William B. Puskas, Jr., 177 Somerset
