TESTVÉRISÉG

The Kolozsvár Reformed College Choir is on a benefit concert tour, visiting 10 cities in the United States and Canada. The concerts are for the benefit of the school, which is located in Cluj-Napoca (Kolozsvár), Romania.

The school was reinstituted after the downfall of Ceausescu's communist regime. This is the only institution of its kind, run by the Hungarian Reformed Church in Romania. It is the successor to the famous Reformed Collegium which was nationalized by the communist government in 1948. The school, which presently has 400 students, operates under extremely difficult conditions, due to financial hardships. Proceeds from their performances will go toward the construction of a much needed school building.

We ask our Branch Managers to join the Organizing Committees and extend their utmost cooperation and assistance. And, we ask our readers to attend the concerts, the proceeds of which will bring good will and hopefully the much needed financial aid to this unique school.
