FRATERNITY Page 25 BRANCH 198 - LIGONIER, PA A meeting was called to order by presiding officer Edith Kovács in the Bethlen Home on December 13, 1991. The opening prayer was also given by Edith. Minutes of the previous meeting were unanimously approved. There is no treasurer's report since all work is done on a voluntary basis. Help was extended to one of our employees whose house was burnt down. Helena Rummel has a grandchild whom she has written up for a $6,000 SPWL. We lost Mr. John Nagy, a longstanding member of the Federation, who spent many years in the Bethlen Home. Our Christmas party was held on Christmas eve when we distributed cookies and wine donated by the Duquesne Church of Rev. Louis Hies for the elderly. Officers elected for 1992: Rev. Csiszár, Branch Manager, on December 22, 1991, the following officers were elected for 1992: Elizabeth A. Haynes, President; Paul Csiszár, Treasurer; Albert J. Csiszár, Secretary. Date delegate election meeting was set for April 11, 1992. Albert J. Csiszár, Secretary BRANCH 202 - DUQUESNE, PA Branch meeting of December 16, 1991 was opened with a prayer given by Olga Darnay. Presiding officer was Mitzi Wigand. It was reported that members of the branch made craft items for the Annual Bazaar of the Bethlen Home which was very well attended. Our branch members were also busy preparing bandages for cancer patients. Two young people graduated from college: Joel Nagy and Craig Bednarovsky. One member passed away: John Csokuly. Two new members were enrolled: James Bruce III and Marilyn Apáti. Branch officers visit elderly members and those living in the Bethlen Home on a regular basis. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved and treasurer's report was accepted. Donation of $5.00 to the Bethlen Home was recorded. Pearl Harbor was remembered. Officers elected for 1992: Alexander Toth, President; Charles Toth, Secretary. Date for the delegate election meeting was set for April 12, 1992. Charles Toth Secretary & Branch Manager BRANCH 238 - YOUNGSTOWN, OH The meeting of December 15,1991 was called to order by Tilly Tatar, President. The opening prayer was by Margaret Dubos, Branch Manager. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as was the Treasurer's report. Silent prayers were held for all of the deceased members. The election of officers was held with the following officers elected: Tilly Tatar, President; James Hohvart, Vice President; Margaret Dubos, Secretary-T reasurer. The delegate election meeting will be held on May 17, 1992 or May 31, 1992 as alternate date. The meeting was adjourned by the President with a prayer.
