FRATERNITY Page 23 BRANCH 84 - CHICAGO, IL Presiding officer Rev. Andrew Sholtes gave the opening prayer at the branch meeting of December 27, 1991. Mention was made of the Citizen's Club Christmas party held at Calvin Reformed Church on December 21, 1991 and the performance of "Something's Up Down in Bethlehem" by the Lansing Youth performers. Officers elected for 1992: Andrew Sholtes, President; Pamela Kubida, Vice President; William Kubida, Treasurer; Mae Caldwell, Secretary. Date for delegate election meeting was set for May 9,1992. Pamela Kubida Branch Officer BRANCH 93 - WHARTON, NJ The meeting was opened with a prayer by Anikó Vajda on December 14, 1991. Presiding officer was László Dallos. It was reported that $20 were collected for the Hungarian soup kitchen and $30 for the scholarship fund. In 1991, we attended the following events: September 31, wedding ceremony of our member Attila Kiss and 25th wedding anniversary of Elek Izsó and his wife who renewed their vows at the Wharton Hungarian Presbyterian Church with Rev. Steve Szabó leading the service. Officers for 1992 were elected: László Dallos, President; Anikó A. Vajda, Vice President; Steve Vajda, Treasurer; Jolán K. Vajda, Secretary. May 31, 1992 will be the date for voting of delegates. Jolán K. Vajda Secretary BRANCH 100 - CHICAGO, IL BRANCH 295 - AURORA, IL A meeting was held on December 21,1991 at the Hegedűs residence. Presiding officer was László Dani. Opening prayer was given by George B. Hegedűs. The treasurer reported that to date there was no excess cash, but that in 1992 our goal would be to attract more people to this branch. The officers also decided to visit elderly members regularly in 1992. Our most important job is to find prospective members in the Hungarian communities of the Chicago area. At the end of the meeting we elected the officers for 1992: George B. Hegedűs, President; László Dani, Vice President; Marie Hegedűs, Treasurer; Gabor J.Hegedus, Secretary. Hegedűs Secretary BRANCH 140 - CANTON, OH A meeting was held in the home of Branch Manager Margaret Bodo in regards to electing officers for this year. The officers elected in 1991 agreed to stay on: Steve Bodo, President; Steven Bodo, Vice President; Margaret Bodo, Secretary-Treasurer; Stephen Sekeres, Comptroller. The evening was spent in good fellowship. Date for delegate election meeting was set for May 17, 1992.
