A By-Law amendment was submitted to the Executive Committee of the HRFA. The meeting was followed by a Christmas party at which our youngsters received gifts. We thank Mrs. Elizabeth Medgyesi for helping with the arrangements of this very successful party and for the refreshments offered. A picnic will be held on August 2,1992. Details to be announced in due time. Date for delegate election meeting was set for April 26, 1992. Elizabeth Ticel Secretary BRANCH 4 - CLEVELAND, OH Jolán Abel, Branch Manager, called the meeting held at 5360 Broadview Road on December 18, 1991 to order. Opening prayer was given by Julia Leszko. Minutes were read and approved. Three new members were reported by Jolán: Thomas P. Harsany, Melinda É. and Stephen B. Toth. Date for next meeting was set - on the agenda: visiting of elderly members. Susan Szabó Secretary BRANCH 6 - HOMESTEAD, PA At a meeting held on January 30, 1992, officers elected for 1992 are: Bela Csikesz, President; Alexander Bajusz, Vice President; Monica Ganch, Secretary; Clara Csikesz, Treasurer. Date for delegate election meeting was set for May 24, 1992. Clara Csikesz Treasurer & Branch Manager BRANCH 13 - PASSAIC, NJ Presiding officer Joseph F. Tegze opened the meeting with a prayer on February 9, 1992 at 3:47 p.m. at Calvin Hall, Passaic, NJ. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read. Sick visitation committee presented its report. A moment of silence was observed in memory of our departed members. Mr. Tegze thanked the members who helped in today's congregational dinner and stressed the importance of continued branch fraternal activities. The following were nominated, moved and unanimously elected for 1992 officers: Joseph F. Tegze, President; Andrew Katocs, Vice President; Helen Kurucz, Treasurer; Wendy J. Tegze, Secretary. This being a convention year, Mr. Tegze opened the floor for discussion to select the date for the branch delegate and alternate election meeting. It was moved and passed to hold the branch delegate and alternate election on May 17, 1992 at 3:00 p.m. Any proposed By-Law amendments will be discussed and acted upon at our next meeting. With no other business, President Tegze adjourned the meeting at 4:21 p.m. Wendy J. Date for delegate election meeting was set for May 24, 1992. Clara Csikesz Treasurer & Branch Manager BRANCH 17 - SO.BEND, IN Meeting was held at the branch manager's home on November 30, 1991. Opening prayer was by Elvira Kajzer. It was reported that during the year several sick members were visited by officers of the branch. The officers also attended several anniversary affairs. Discussion was held on ways and means of supporting the Bethlen Home. Plans were made to visit the elderly during the holidays and to remember the shut-ins with food baskets.
