CRAIG EDWARD BEDNAROVSKY, Member of Branch 202, was life-long member of the Hungarian Reformed Church of Duquesne and a former secretary/ treasurer and vice president of the Youth Fellowship, as well as a member since confirmation. He is now seeking a B.A. in Political Science and in Economics at The American University in Washington, D.C. Craig is interested in politics and would eventually like to hold public office. He writes: "My interest runs beyond the superficial aspects of political life, however, and I find an honest desire to try and help those who genuinely need it most. To me, politics seems the best way to achieve that goal." His current employer is theU.S. Dept, of Energy, Office of Hearing and Appeals. DEBORAH L. FRIES, Member of Branch 197, will be graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in September of this year. She has chosen to major in applied graphics which deals with the designs of book covers, album covers, package design, and much, much more. An example of applied graphics is shown below. In a letter addressed to us, she wrote: "For our project we had to create a new product and design a logo and package. My product was "Bean Bags," coffee in a bag. We took photographs of our product, developed them and printed them ourselves. My minor is illustration which explains itself. After graduation, I am looking forward to building a rewarding career as a "Commercial Artist." Deborah has been a member of the Federation all of her young life. Our former Branch Manager, Mr. Lou Szuch, saw some of Deborah's work at Plum High School Art Show and was very impressed with her talent, and it was upon his recommendation that we were able to extend a financial aid to Deborah. ERIKA GYORFFY, Member of Branch 300, graduated this August from Florida Inst, of Technology with a B.S. in Psychology. She hopes to continue in the field of psychology and obtain a masters and
