FRATERNITY Page 23 STUDENT AID JULIANNA GEIGER, member of Branch 302, is a psychology major at Rutgers University. She wrote us the following letter in Hungarian: "Tisztelt Vezetőség! Ez úton szeretném kifejezni köszönetemet az Egyesülettől kapott tanulmányi segélyért, amely egy egész évi tankönyvköltségemet fedezte a Rutgers egyetemen. Hálásan gondolok azokra, akik fontosnak tartják az egyetemisták támogatását, s ezáltal megkönnyítik az első idők anyagi nehézségeit." Geiger Julianna. A New Brunswick-i Széchenyi Magyar Iskola növendékeinek "Kati nénije" aki hét éve tanít isolánkban LAURENE ANN KIRKLAND is a sophmore at California Uhiversity of PA, majoring in accounting. She is also an active community church leader and enjoys the simple things in life. Laurene is the grandchild of our Manager of Branch 152, Mary Bota. Laurene Ann Kirkland TAMARA LEE MOLNÁR, member of Branch 15, is studying communications at Pennsylvania State University, McKeesport Campus. She is putting herself through school by working fulltime in the summer and part time during the school year as a waitress and bartender at Chi-Chi's Mexican Restaur­ant. Starting October 10, she will be doing volunteer work at the YMCA where she will be tutoring children ages 7-12 with their homework 1 day a week for the rest of the semester. Tamara Lee Molnár SUE POLOSKEY, member of Branch 302, is pursuing her studies in Pharmacy at Luzerne Community College in Nanticoke, PA. Mrs. Julianna Tompa, Branch Manager, received this note of thanks from her: "I would just like to drop a note to thank you and the HRFA for the aid to college students I received last week. That money came at a time when it was most needed. Thanks for the assistance." Sue Poloskey ERIKA SILVERMAN, member of Branch 302, is currently pursuing a major in art at the University of Delaware. Upon graduation she will be pursuing a career in an art-related field. Erika Silverman
