ECUMENICAL WORSHIP SERVICE IN BEAVER FALLS, PA After a busy year in fraternal activity, I was prepared to wrap up the year with the children's Christmas party which was planned for December 19, 1987 at the Hungarian Home in Ellwood City, PA. Little did I know as I was returning from my hunting trip that the once heavily populated with Hungarians area of Lawrence and Beaver County was on the "rise again." As I was unloading the jeep, my dear wife broke the news that we are having an ecumenical worship service for Americans of Hungarian descent on December 20,1987 at the Hungarian Reformed Church Children's Christmas Party. The William Penn Association and the HRFA would be co-sponsoring the event. I have to admit that I was not excited to hear this, because I still had a couple of days to hunt deer and my mind was already set on the next day of deer hunting. Bertalan was not able to attend, so he called upon Rev. Miklós Novak from the Hazelwood Hungarian Reformed Church. (Rev. Novak is also a director of the HRFA.) After the Sunday morning church service, which was attended only by a handful of people, the Chairman of the Church, Mr. Frank Belle, asked me in Hungarian, "Endre, mit gondolsz, leszünk este többen?" My only answer was: "IGEN!" In the early afternoon I packed the car with food that my wife had prepared for refreshments; I could hardly wait to get to the church so I could be the first one there. I was surprised to see that Paul Farkas, President of Branch 151, had already arrived 30 minutes earlier. Then came Frank Horvath, Frank Wilson, Frank Belle, and so on. By the time Rev. Novak and his lovely wife arrived, we were eagerly noticing that the pews were starting
