FRATERNITY Page 21 BRANCH 62-EAST CHICAGO, IN On January 10, 1988 a meeting was held for the election of the 1988 officers: István Bujtor, President; Joseph Szilagyi, Vice President; Maria Kovács, Treasurer & Secretary. Joseph Kovács, Branch Manager Az osztály tagjai 1988. január 10-én délután 3 órakor gyűlést tartottak Joseph Kovács osztálykezelő lakásán. Bujtor István elnök üdvözölte a tagokat és rövid imával nyitotta meg a gyűlést. Közölte, hogy ennek a gyűlésnek a legfontosabb feladata az új tisztitkar megválasztása. Kaminszky Tibor szót kért, s ajánlotta, hogy a jelenlegi tisztikar maradjon még egy évig. Az ajánlatot Mrs. Diósi és Mrs. Orbán pártolták, s a jelenlévők egyhangúlag elfogadták. Az újra megválasztott tisztikar megköszönte a tagoknak a bizalmát és bejelentette, hogy fizetés nélkül fogja vezetni az osztályt meg egy esztendeig. Majd szó került a nyáron tervezett piknikről és kolbász-vásárról. Frissítő, kávé, sütemény mellett kártyázva, bankózva, beszélgetve tovább tartott a szórakozás. Louis Reszoly, Branch Manager Pataki András és felesége 1988. május 8-án ünnepli 60-ik házassági évfordulóját. A Magyar Református Egyesület és a 63-as osztály minden tagja ezúton is köszönti az ünnepeiteket, jó egészséget és hosszú életet kivánva. Az osztálykezelő háromszor tett látogatást az öregotthonban, s vasárnaponként a kórházi betegeket látogatja. Rezsoly Lajos, osztálykezelő BRANCH 67—SHARON, PA With all officers present, the meeting was opened on January 6, 1988 with a prayer and greetings from the President for a Good New Year to all. The Secretary reports on visitations and cards sent to ailing members, also a moment of prayer for deceased members in the past year. The President thanks all members that contributed financially to the Bethlen Home in 1987, also for the support of the annual bazaar in November 1987. Members decided that they will continue to support the Bethlen Home and other Fraternal and Community projects in this new year. The next order of business was the election of officers for 1988. A motion was made and properly seconded that the present officers be reelected for the year 1988. The following were reelected: William Szuch, President; Frank Nagy, Vice President; Helen Szuch, Secretary & Treasurer. No further business to report, a motion was made and properly moved and seconded to close the meeting. The President closed the meeting with a prayer.
