FRATERNITY Page 17 STUDENT AID WILLI AN JOSEPH RITTICK, member of Branch 235, is currently a junior at Robert Morris College in Pennsylvania, where he is studying to become an accountant. After graduation, he plans to take the CPA exam. In his letter to us, he writes: "In my community I have always participated in many sports programs. I seem to always pick the roles of a leader: I was the starting quarterback for football and starting catcher for baseball in my junior and senior years in high school. Besides sports, I also help the Democratic Party campaign during elections. I want to thank everybody in the HRFA for being so concerned in my education. Your gift will help me achieve my goals in life." DAVID A. TUTERA of Branch 235 is a second year student at Point Park College, School of Business in Pittsburgh, PA. Although his major is Accounting, yet he is very interested in Music. In addition to being elected President of the Marching, Concert and Jazz Bands in his senior year of 1986 at Duquesne High School, he also received the following awards: 1986 - John Philip Sousa Award (Trumpet); 1986 - Who's Who in Music; 1986 - Who's Who Among High School Students; 1986 - All American Academic Scholar's Award; 1986 - District P.M.E.A. Award; 1986 - Regional P.M.E.A. Award; 1984-1986 Junior & Senior Hall of Fame. "Thank you for your financial assistance — this money will be used for my college expenses for the next semester." THOMAS J. WOODALL of Branch 153 writes: "I want to thank the Federation for the Student Aid Gift. I also want to express my appreciation to Irene Sakalo, Branch Manager, for her assistance. The gift will be applied to the cost of my education at West Virginia University where I am sophmore in English, with emphasis on literture and creative writing. My ambitions are to become an English professor and a novelist. Recently, I won a writing competition to take part in a workshop with a famous author. The author's encouragement and instruction have heightened my interest in becoming a novelist. Again, the Student Aid Gift is greatly appreciated."
