Page 18 TESTVÉRISÉG The Home Office was represented by President Imre Bertalan and Treasurer William B. Puskas. Branch #93 from Wharton sent a delegation headed by Mr. & Mrs. Steve Vajda. Branch #20 from Trenton was represented by Mr. & Mrs. Robert Kroslin and their guests. Branch #33 sent Mr. & Mrs. Fred Erdei and their friends. Branch #313 was represented by Director Piroska Hu- nyady. John Szabó from Branch #330, Toms River, was also present. The William Penn Association was represented by Vice Chairman of the Board, Mr. Joseph Ar- vay, and the officers of the local branch. City councilman J. Nemes came with a delegation from the Magyar Democratic Club. President Louis Toth represented the Hungarian American Athletic Club. All the thanks and appreciations should go to Vice-President George Dózsa, Director László Li- poczky and local branch officers, Vice-President Viola Wyttenbach, Jerry Wyttenbach, Anna Li- poczky, Matilda Dózsa, Julia Tompa and Linda Puskas for organizing this beautiful affair. Branch #302 will donate $1,330.50 for the restoration of the Statue of Liberty, and this amount will be matched by the Home Office and with other donations already at hand will be sent to the Ellis Island Committee. Mr. & Mrs. John Kish BRANCH 313-LINDEN, NJ The July meeting was opened by President Ambrose Batiz with a prayer. Reports were given by the members who attended the Hungarian Day held in New Brunswick in June. Priscilla Hunyady, a member of the Board of Directors of the HRFA reported on the District Meeting. Monica Batiz graduated from high school in June. We wish her success as she continues her education in the fall. Our President, Ambrose Batiz, will enter New Brunswick Theological Seminary in September. We ask God’s blessing on the task he is about to undertake. Priscilla Hunyady, Director, will be one of the Camp Directors at the Annual Joint Youth Conference to be held in August in Pennsylvania. This is a joint venture of the member churches of the Calvin Synod, United Church of Christ and the Hungarian Reformed Church in America. All young people, 13 to 17 years of age were welcome! The members of Branch 313 were encouraged to support the Hungarian organizations during the summer at the picnics and other events. Priscilla Hunyady
