Page 14 TESTVÉRISÉG BRANCH 67, SHARON, PA William Szuch, president of Branch 67 presented the Student Aid check to Kelle Szuch. Kelle attends Youngstown State University majoring in marketing and merchandising. Her minor is business. Kelle wrote, “knowing how the economy is I greatly appreciate the gift of money from the HRFA. This sum will help further my college education.” Kelle is an ambitious young lady who also works part-time to help defray her school expenses. Helen Szuch BRANCH 93, WHARTON, NJ At the March 15th Observance supper at the Hungarian Presbyterian Church in Wharton, the members of the Wharton, Franklin and Dover area, designated a portion of the proceeds to the Student Aid Fund of the HRFA. Steve Vajda presented the $65 check to Suzanne S. Virgulák, vice-president and Rev. Imre Bertalan, President. At the April meeting the following were elected officers for 1985: Oscar Kiss, president; Frank Csabai, vice-president; Steve Vajda, secretary; Karl Both, controller. Various projects for the year were discussed. BRANCH 140, CANTON, OH The meeting was opened by President Steve Bodo. The opening prayer was given by John Dohy. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved by all. The first order of business was the election of officers for the year 1985. A motion was made by George Reed to keep the officers of last year. All agreed to remain. The officers are: Steve Bodo, president; Steven Bodo, vice-president; Margaret Bodo, secretary-treasurer; Stephen Sekeres, controller. The new type of policy was discussed and everyone thought it was a good one for someone who could not afford a more expensive one at this time. There is prospect for several new members because of the $5,000 or $10,000 term policy for children to age 25. Joseph Benedek, Director, was with us and answered questions raised by the 14 members present. A nice visit was had by all. The closing prayer was given by John Dohy. Margaret Bodo, secretary BRANCH 151, BEAVER FALLS, PA Notes of appreciation have been received from members of 151 who have received student aid. Renee M. Fabri has written: “I would like to express my most sincere appreciation for the gratuity from the HRFA. Since I did not receive any financial aid from the University of Pittsburgh this year, I was dealing with financial difficulty. The sum from the Federation will help me buy books for next term. Also, I would like to give special thanks to Endre Csornán for informing me of this opportunity.” Helen M. Wilson, also a recepient of student aid, wrote — “I can’t tell you how much it means to know you are out there helping students in their education, especially when the government is making cuts in financial aid for students. Bless you for caring.” At the May meeting the following officers were elected for 1985: Paul Farkas, president; Zoltán Kovács, vice-president; Endre Csornán, secretary; Arlene J.
