FRATERNITY Page 11 The Christening of Alexandra took place in the Bethlen Home Chapel by a very proud grandfath­er Rev. Paul Kovács. The Godparents were Ruth and Daniel Kovács, aunt and uncle of Alexandra. Visiting from Buda­pest, Hungary and present for the christening was Mrs. Helen Buch, Great-Grandmother of Alex­andra, mother of Mrs. Edith Kovács. Helen Szuch BRANCH 112, MEDINA, OH At the November meeting of Branch #112 the following were elected the officers of the branch: President — John Franklin Penland; Vice-presi­dent — Gary Lee Komjati; Secretary — Irene Rob­inson; Treasurer — Mary Beth Goodwin; Control­ler — Barbara Szaniszlo; Branch Manager — Paul Komjati. Branch meeting will be resumed in the spring. BRANCH 198, LIGONIER, PA At the annual BAZAAR held at the Bethlen Home, Mrs. Üveges won the beautiful Hungarian doll made by Mrs. Arpad George. The picture shows the Üveges family with the doll. The bazaar was a success thanks to the support of many branches of the HRFA which send articles to sell and money donations. The money raised is used for the expenses of planned activities for the resi­dents of the Bethlen Home. BRANCH 228, ROSSVILLE, NY Regular monthly meetings are held on the first Sunday of every month at 2484 Arthur Kill Rd. The officers elected in November for 1985 are: President — Kalman Toth; Secretary — Charles Toth; Controller — Helen Shepherd. The branch has regular days of remembrance — Labor Day, October 6, 1848, Veteran’s Day and Thanksgiv­ing Day, Pearl Harbor. Charles Toth BRANCH 300, WASHINGTON, D.C. Sharon Lynne Vargo, daughter of Vice President- Secretary and Mrs. E. E. Vargo, was crowned “Miss Seneca Valley” at a beauty pageant held at her high school on March 22, 1985. Sharon is presently a sen­ior and has participated in numerous extra-curricular activities throughout her high school years. She has been a member of the Pom Pon squad, Yearbook staff, Honor Roll, S.A.D.D. (Students Against Drunk Driving) and a representative of the Stu­dent Government Association. She will attend the University of Maryland this fall and major in Marketing and Business. Sharon is also a member of Branch 300 of the HRFA and we extend our congratulations on this achievement and best wishes in all her future en­deavors. Miss SUSANA M. BÓ- NlS-t, Dr. Joseph A. Bónis és Dr. Susana T. Bónis 13 éves kis lányát, Egyesüle­tünk 300-as osztályának egyik kiváló ifjúsági tagját bemutatjuk olvasóinknak.
